Use Scotch-Brite™ 7448 PRO rolls as an excellent alternative to steel wool, wire brushes, and sandpaper for cleaning or finishing tasks. Our 7448 PRO rolls deliver consistent results in less time. Use them on a variety of materials, including wood, metal, plastic, ceramic, porcelain, glass, rubber, or composites. The roll format allows for the creation of a custom sheet to quickly and efficiently abrade and clean surfaces. The material is designed to reduce surface preparation time, whether it's for paint preparation in the automotive industry or lightly sanding furniture or cabinets. The fiber coating technology ensures efficient cutting and consistent scratching, reducing the time needed to lightly sand, prepare, or finish parts. Closely packed abrasive particles ensure a consistent, even result throughout the roll's lifespan. With ultrafine grit silicon carbide abrasive material, the material cuts quickly, resulting in a clean and smooth finished surface. Suitable for use on a wide range of materials, the performance of these pads is comparable to 00 grit steel wool. However, unlike steel wool, the Scotch-Brite 7448 PRO roll will not rust or cause fine metal splinters after use. Use for cleaning, finishing, blending, and deburring, or for light sanding before applying paint and paint primers. They also clean upholstery and chrome. These pads are versatile for use in wet or dry environments and can be rinsed and reused. We have filled the grey rolls with ultrafine silicon carbide abrasive mineral, a synthetic mineral that is very sharp and widely used for low-pressure applications such as paint preparation. The material breaks down faster than aluminum oxide, for a superior finish. Scotch-Brite PRO is a unique surface conditioning product with abrasive material embedded in non-woven nylon fibers. The breakthrough fiber coating technology ensures that Scotch-Brite™ PRO abrasive products cut faster and produce a more consistent scratch than competing non-woven abrasive products, resulting in less time and effort to finish parts.
