Use the Scotch-Brite™ Surface Conditioning roll for effective deburring, blending, and finishing of various substrates. Our versatile surface conditioning rolls can also be used for light grinding applications. These general-purpose surface conditioning rolls offer all the benefits of Scotch-Brite™ products, including non-woven abrasive technology and consistent cutting action. They come with a variety of aluminum oxide or silicon carbide abrasives and a range of grits from superfine (SFN) to coarse (CRS). The superfine grit size has a less aggressive cut and provides a finer finish, while the coarse grit size has a more aggressive cut for a coarser finish. The range includes a grit size to suit every job. Scotch-Brite™ abrasives utilize unique non-woven technology where abrasives are alternately bonded with resin to synthetic fibers. This creates an open web structure. The gaps between the fibers allow excess material to escape, preventing the mineral from clogging with debris. This keeps the mineral sharp longer, enhances cutting action, and extends the life of the abrasive. The elastic nature of the fibers conforms well to contours and responds to the subtleties of the surface. The resilient design effectively removes unwanted burrs, smudges, and contaminants without damaging the base material, providing a consistent and even finish step-by-step.
