Use the Scotch-Brite™ Handpad 7445 for light cleaning to lightly clean stainless steel, chrome, or painted surfaces, remove imperfections from wax molds, or buff painted wood. Our handpads are a mild abrasive, manufactured with a flexible web and a fine abrasive that's perfect for situations requiring a gentle approach for light cleaning or a fine finish. Use the handpads with a liquid cleaner for a gentle yet thorough cleaning of dirt or residue on delicate surfaces such as vinyl, porcelain, glass, and plastic. They can also be used for lightly cleaning stainless steel, chrome, or painted surfaces, removing imperfections from wax molds, or buffing painted wood. The pads are a convenient alternative to steel wool and are designed to work cleaner and longer, with results comparable to 0000 grade steel wool, minus the rust and small splinters. Scotch-Brite Handpads can be used directly out of the box by hand. Scotch-Brite is a unique surface treatment product with an abrasive in non-woven nylon fibers. The combination of abrasive and fibers creates an abrasive system that delivers consistent results throughout the product's lifespan. The open web material is clog-resistant and ensures that the abrasive minerals continue to perform at a high level because the nylon fibers clog less easily.
