Use the Scotch-Brite™ Multi-Finishing Wheel for cleaning and finishing a range of metals, including stainless steel, aluminum, brass, and copper. Our multi-finishing wheels are ideal for producing grade 3 or 4 finishes on stainless steel and other metals on curved, profiled, and flat surfaces. The open web structure keeps the wheels cool and prevents clogging, reducing the risk of discoloration and warping of parts, and extending wheel life. They are available in coarse, medium, and fine grit sizes. Scotch-Brite™ Multi-Finishing Wheels utilize silicon carbide abrasive material. Silicon carbide is a very sharp synthetic abrasive generally used in low-pressure applications such as paint preparation. The material breaks down faster than aluminum oxide, resulting in a superior finish. Scotch-Brite™ industrial abrasives incorporate unique surface finishing products where the abrasive minerals are embedded in non-woven nylon or synthetic fibers. The combination of abrasive material and fibers creates an abrasive system that delivers consistent results throughout the product's life. We have chosen an open web material that stays cool during use and is clog-resistant. This prevents the fibers from clogging quickly and keeps the abrasive minerals performing at a high level.
