Use our hard, aggressive Scotch-Brite™ Deburring Wheel for a variety of deburring tasks and surfaces. Our silicon carbide wheels offer high density (11), in medium and fine grits. They are effective for light to medium deburring of edges on carbon steel, stainless steel, titanium, and soft metals. The twisted and non-woven design of our Scotch-Brite™ deburring wheels provides consistent abrasive action on flat or irregular surfaces throughout the wheel's lifespan. Our wheels are hard and durable, making them ideal for deburring stamped or laser-cut parts, cleaning, or finishing after belt sanding, resulting in fewer grooves in the base material. They offer a superior finish, potentially eliminating the need for further finishing steps. They utilize an extra-sharp silicon carbide abrasive grain, a synthetic material typically used in low-pressure applications such as finishing and paint preparation. Silicon carbide breaks down faster than aluminum oxide, providing a finer finish. The open web material stays cool during use and is clog-resistant, preventing the fibers from becoming clogged. Combined with the continuous breakdown of the fibers in the web, exposing new minerals, this ensures consistently high cutting performance of the minerals. This results in an extremely long service life. Scotch-Brite industrial abrasives are unique surface conditioning products consisting of abrasive grains embedded in non-woven nylon or synthetic fibers. This combination of abrasive grains and fibers creates an abrasive system that delivers consistent results throughout the product's lifespan.
