Use pre-cut Scotch-Brite™ Hand Pads on a roll for a wide variety of tasks and materials. Our hand pads are supplied on a roll, pre-cut at regular intervals for convenience. The pads provide fine finishing results after each use. They are a good alternative to steel wool, wire brushes, sandpaper, and other non-woven products for difficult cleaning or finishing tasks. The pads offer a combination of flexibility with effective cutting action and precise hand use. Unlike steel wool, they do not fray or rust during or after use, nor do they leave behind fine metal splinters. The hand pads are suitable for cleaning, finishing, smoothing, removing minor imperfections, and removing lint. Our very fine aluminum oxide abrasive cuts quickly and finely, leaving a smooth surface with an excellent finish. The non-woven, open web material is clog-resistant and can be used dry, with water, or with solvents. After use, it can be rinsed for reuse. The pads can be used manually with a sanding block for a uniform finish. For larger surfaces, they can be used on a surface grinder. Our Scotch-Brite™ industrial abrasive products are unique surface treatment products where the abrasive is embedded in non-woven nylon or other synthetic fibers. The combination of abrasive in fibers creates an abrasive system that delivers consistent results throughout the product's life. The open web material is clog-resistant and ensures that the abrasive minerals continue to perform at a high level because the fibers clog less easily. The hand pads can be folded, stacked, or rolled for effective cleaning or conditioning of flat, irregular, or shaped surfaces.
