Use Scotch-Brite™ 7447 PRO roll as a superior alternative to steel wool and other non-woven products such as wire brushes and sandpaper for demanding cleaning tasks and fine finishing results. Our 7447 PRO utilizes tightly sorted aluminum oxide abrasive particles for a fast cut and a clean, smooth finish. The fiber coating technology cuts efficiently with a consistent scratch pattern, allowing for light sanding, preparation, or finishing of parts in less time. Results are consistent throughout the life of the discs. Use the versatile 7447 PRO on a wide range of materials such as wood, metal, plastic, ceramic, porcelain, glass, rubber, or composites, from paint preparation in the automotive industry to light sanding of furniture or cabinets. Our discs are comparable in performance to grade 1 steel wool, but unlike steel wool, they do not rust after use and leave no fine metal particles. Use for cleaning, finishing, blending, and deburring, or for light sanding before applying paint and paint primers. They also clean upholstery and chrome. The discs are effective in wet or dry environments and can be rinsed and reused. Scotch-Brite PRO is a unique surface conditioning product with abrasive material embedded in non-woven nylon fibers. This fiber coating technology ensures that Scotch-Brite PRO abrasive products cut faster and produce a more consistent scratch than competing non-woven abrasive products, resulting in less time and effort required to finish parts. The combination of abrasive material and fibers creates an abrasive system that delivers consistent results throughout the product's life. The open web material is clog-resistant, ensuring that the abrasive minerals continue to perform at a high level because the nylon fibers clog less easily.
