The Scotch-Brite™ Finishing Flap Brush provides better consistency and greater control in a number of preparation and finishing operations, such as brushed finishes on copper, brass, stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals. Our flap brushes require no chemical compounds to achieve fine finishes and are ideal for all aesthetic finishing applications, smoothing wood grain, de-foam wood, plastic, composite surfaces, and sanding sealant. These brushes are available with aluminum oxide mineral. This strong, durable mineral self-sharpens during use, revealing new cutting edges – while traditional natural abrasive grains dull faster. Due to its high cutting speed, hardness, and strength, it is widely used in grinding, sanding, and finishing applications. Aluminum oxide is suitable for numerous materials in both wood and metalworking, including ferrous alloys. Scotch-Brite abrasive material consists of unique surface treatment products with abrasive minerals in a non-woven fiber layer. The combination of abrasive grains and non-woven material creates an abrasive system that delivers consistent results throughout the product's lifespan. The open web material stays cool during use and is clog-resistant. This means the fibers clog less easily, and the abrasive minerals maintain high performance.
