Use Scotch-Brite™ EXL unitized wheels for a clean, streak-free edge finish, saving you time on extra preparation and cleanup. Our wheels are engineered for optimal performance with a grinder and minimize heat generation during use, making them ideal for heat-sensitive materials. They are filled with a mineral abrasive to quickly smooth edges on metals, plastics, and composites. Available with aluminum oxide or silicon carbide in various grits: fine, medium, coarse, and extra coarse with aluminum oxide, and fine and extra fine with silicon carbide. Scotch-Brite abrasive materials consist of unique surface finishing products with abrasive minerals in a non-woven fiber layer. Combining abrasive minerals with non-woven material creates an abrasive system that delivers consistent results throughout the product's lifespan. The open web structure keeps the material cool during use and resists clogging, ensuring optimal performance of the abrasive material and less fiber clogging.
