FLITE COV is een onafhankelijk ademhalingsapparaat dat tevens ook noodbescherming kan bieden. De gebruiker kan binnentreden in ruimtes met gevaarlijke stoffen waaronder asbest en chroom 6. Indien nodig kan de omschakeling naar de cilinder voor noodluchttoevoer uitgevoerd door een automatische omschakelklep. De eenheid beschikt ook over een vlam vertragend polyester harnas met roestvrijstalen gespen, gecombineerde cilinder en drukverminderende klepsamenstel en een robuuste op het masker gemonteerde vraagklep met automatische activering van de eerste ademhaling. De FLITE COV is veelzijdig en kan worden gebruikt in toepassingen zoals het betreden van besloten ruimten, gevaarlijke materiaalbehandeling en een aantal van algemene onderhoudstaken in een grote verscheidenheid van industrieën, waaronder chemie, petrochemie, olie & gas en openbare nutsbedrijven.
